We are growing our team and seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service department. If you have diagnostic and repair expertise, we want to hear from you. Position Overview The Automotive Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic and repair work on a wide range of vehicles. This includes troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and computer-controlled systems. The ideal candidate is proficient in modern automotive technology, has strong problem-solving skills, and is dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing using computerized equipment and specialized tools. Inspect, repair, or replace mechanical systems. Service and maintain vehicle electronic control systems, sensors, and onboard computer modules. Conduct manufacturer-recommended preventive maintenance services, including fluid changes, lubrication, and tune-ups. Road-test vehicles and ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards. Document all services performed, repair recommendations, and parts used in the work order system. Stay current with evolving automotive technologies through ongoing training and certification. Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe, working condition. Requirements Minimum 3+ years professional automotive repair experience. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Strong diagnostic skills with experience using OEM-level scan tools and diagnostic software. Excellent mechanical aptitude with in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and repair methods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.
