Overview Best One of Grant County is seeking a skilled and motivated Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing routine maintenance, tire services, and oil changes to ensure customer vehicles are safe and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and experience with automotive repairs. Prior dealership or service technician experience is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to vehicle maintenance and repair. Duties Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and tire replacements with precision and efficiency Conduct vehicle alignments and wheel balancing to manufacturer specifications Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform maintenance tasks Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and recommend necessary repairs or services Assist with vehicle inspections, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance procedures Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure proper safety protocols are followed Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions Support sales efforts by recommending additional maintenance or repair services as appropriate Requirements Previous dealership or automotive repair experience preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required for tire installation or parts handling Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Valid driver's license required; clean driving record preferred Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, alignments, and tire services Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose automotive issues accurately This position is ideal for individuals passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to providing top-quality vehicle maintenance services.
