Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing routine maintenance, tire services, and oil changes to ensure customer vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and diagnostics, with a strong focus on customer service and vehicle maintenance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a reputable dealership or automotive service center. Responsibilities Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and tire replacements with precision and efficiency Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues or maintenance needs Assist with wheel alignments and other mechanical repairs as needed Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair vehicles Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency Communicate effectively with customers regarding services performed and recommended repairs Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, brake inspections, and basic repairs Support sales efforts by explaining services to customers and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate Lift heavy tires or vehicle parts safely while adhering to safety protocols Experience Dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred Prior mechanic experience or service technician experience highly desirable Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment Experience performing oil changes, tire services, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work in physically demanding environments Previous sales experience related to automotive services is a plus This role is ideal for individuals passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
