Job Description

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a safety-focused Class A or B CDL Operator to support Transportation & Logistics in environmental services operations. This role operates vacuum trucks and other CDL equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to and from industrial, petrochemical, and energy facilities. Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, pre/post-trip inspections, adherence to DOT and company procedures, accurate paperwork, and support of field crews during industrial cleaning projects. The position requires reliability, strong safety awareness, teamwork in demanding field conditions, and willingness to work overtime and travel as needed. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A or B CDL equipment, including vacuum trucks and tankers Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials between client sites and facilities Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures at all times Assist field crews with industrial cleaning and environmental service tasks Properly load, secure, and unload materials, ensuring spill prevention Maintain clean, compliant equipment and report maintenance needs Work overtime, weekends, and travel to various industrial job sites as required Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and client representatives Participate in ongoing safety meetings and training Required Skills CDL Class A or B driving Tanker and/or hazmat hauling Vacuum truck operation Pre/post-trip inspections DOT regulations compliance Load securement Paperwork and logbook accuracy Basic equipment troubleshooting Hazardous materials handling Safe lifting and field work
