Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will be vital in delivering top-tier automotive service, working with cutting-edge systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), electrical diagnostics, and powertrain components. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs. Repair and calibrate ADAS features like lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and collision avoidance systems to ensure optimal vehicle safety. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems across diverse vehicle makes, especially GM vehicles. Conduct vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles operating smoothly. Collaborate with team members on automotive repair projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety compliance. Qualifications Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and powertrain components. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic software. Experience working with schematics for troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Knowledge of diesel engine repair and auto estimating processes is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
