Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently. Perform wheel alignments, brake repairs, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and other specialized services. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs with precision. Inspect and repair vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the service process. Proven dealership or automotive service technician experience with a strong mechanical background. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics reading. Hands-on experience repairing GM vehicles or similar makes preferred. Knowledge of ADAS calibration, alignment procedures, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Service technician experience involving auto estimating processes is a plus. Strong customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
