Overview Join our automotive service team as a Repair Shop Foreman / Service Foreman , where you will lead and oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance. You will coordinate repair processes, mentor technicians, and uphold safety standards while delivering outstanding service to our valued customers. Duties Lead and supervise a team of automotive technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of repairs. Oversee the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems , and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Review repair orders, schematics, and technical manuals to guide troubleshooting efforts and ensure accurate diagnostics. Be able to learn and show others how to use those same systems to complete work more timely and efficiently Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, industry standards, and manufacturer specifications. Manage workflow efficiently by prioritizing repairs such as oil changes, alignments, tire services, shocks & struts replacements, and auto body repairs. Manage personalities and be compassionate for customers and coworkers while demonstrating leadership and direction. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and service times for accurate billing and reporting. Comfortable with using our equipment to accurately photograph issues repeated for customer understanding and transparency. Foster a positive work environment by mentoring technicians on mechanical systems repair, heavy equipment mechanics practices, and the use of power tools. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs needed and provide exceptional customer service throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair in vehicles both old and new and in between. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components including transmissions and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with schematics reading, auto estimating software, and auto body repair techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and air brake systems is a plus. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high standards of quality work.
