As a Service Technician at Kraft Tank Corporation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our products and services. Position Responsibilities Carry out assigned jobs based on established processes or as directed by the Service Manager. Your initial job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: o Changing tires o Installing mud flaps for service customers. o Diagnosing and repairing trailer light systems. o Changing trailer lights. o Preforming preventative maintenance and equipment check-ins. o Replacing gaskets, dome lids, butterfly valves, and API heads. o Conducting services on brakes and brake chambers. o Report any discrepancies or modifications to the Repair Order immediately to Service Manager and Service Advisors. Maintain a clean working environment by cleaning the bay after each job, returning extra parts to the warehouse, and disposing of excess materials. Adhere to safety protocols and complete all tasks in compliance with company requirements. Take on additional responsibilities as directed by the Shop Foreman and Shop Manager. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience performing trailer repair work proficiently. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A valid driver's license to operate a hostler in the yard. High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of two years of experience in the automotive and/or trucking repairs industry. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, climb and sit for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment. Ability to lift up to 75lbs. Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal skills with customers, management, and team members. Travel as needed to other Company locations by vehicle, plane, or train.
