Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Service vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, brake repairs, and suspension system repairs to maintain safety standards. Repair and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics as needed to support diverse vehicle types. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools efficiently to complete repairs with precision. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical failures. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle maintenance meets manufacturer specifications. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and auto electrical systems. Skilled in automotive diagnostics with the ability to read schematics and utilize diagnostic software effectively. Experience repairing diesel engines and performing auto body repairs is a plus. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and perform vehicle maintenance efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a commitment to quality workmanship. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training is highly desirable.
