Tri-State Powersports is looking for a dependable and experienced Powersports Mechanic / Service Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can diagnose problems efficiently, and understands the importance of getting repairs done correctly and on time . The technician will work primarily on ATVs, side-by-sides/UTVs, motorcycles, and other powersports equipment , including brands such as Polaris and CFMOTO . Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, and drivability problems Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, fluid services, filters, brakes, and inspections Repair engines, transmissions, CVT/clutch systems, differentials, suspension, steering, and electrical systems Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer procedures Install accessories such as winches, roofs, windshields, heaters, audio systems, lighting, turn signals, and other aftermarket equipment Assemble and perform pre-delivery inspections ( PDI ) on new units Use diagnostic equipment and service manuals to troubleshoot problems Accurately document repairs and work performed on repair orders Communicate with the service department regarding needed repairs, parts, and estimated completion times Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized Test completed repairs to ensure units are operating properly Follow dealership and manufacturer safety procedures Qualifications Previous powersports, automotive, motorcycle, or small-engine mechanical experience preferred Polaris and/or CFMOTO experience is a major plus Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to use diagnostic tools, multimeters, scan tools, and standard shop equipment Must have your own basic mechanic's tools Ability to lift, move, and work around ATVs and side-by-sides Valid driver's license Dependable attendance and ability to work independently Good communication and organizational skills Willingness to complete manufacturer training and certifications What We're Looking For We want someone who is more than just a parts changer . The right technician should be able to diagnose a problem, determine the correct repair, and complete the job without unnecessary comebacks. Experience working on Polaris Rangers, RZRs, Sportsmans, CFMOTO UFORCE, ZFORCE and CFORCE models would be especially valuable.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.0 per week
