Responsibilities Perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services on customer vehicles in a timely and efficient manner. Observe and follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and other technicians. Inspect vehicles for basic maintenance needs and recommend additional services as necessary. Communicate vehicle's maintenance needs and provide basic information on recommended services. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each job. Keep work area clean and organized, including disposing of used materials properly. Assist in maintaining equipment and tools in good working order. Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge through on-the-job training. Qualifications Ability to work as part of a team, with good communication, interpersonal skills, and flexibility. Experience in shop or dealership automotive environment with a willingness to learn. High school diploma or equivalent and valid drivers license. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Basic mechanical aptitude and dexterity. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts, up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a noisy, fast paced, and busy environment.
