Job Description

McFarland Chevrolet is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is designed as a support role working alongside and assisting our lead Maintenance Technician with the daily upkeep, maintenance, and appearance of our facilities and operations. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are adding another team member to help maintain a safe, clean, efficient, and professional environment for employees and customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and wants to become part of a collaborative team environment. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the lead Maintenance Technician with day-to-day facility maintenance tasks. Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs throughout dealership buildings and grounds. Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of service, showroom, office, and outdoor areas. Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and inspections. Help with equipment setup, movement, and basic troubleshooting. Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or repair needs. Assist with inventory and organization of maintenance supplies and equipment. Follow workplace safety procedures and company standards. Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Preferred qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, mechanical, or related experience is helpful but not required. Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and repair practices. Ability to perform physical work including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods. Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
