Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mechanic to join our team. As the lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of automotive mechanics, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, brake pad replacements, and tire rotations.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, such as engine problems, transmission failures, and electrical system malfunctions.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Lead and direct a team of mechanics in their daily tasks and projects.
• Develop and implement efficient and effective maintenance and repair procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and sales, to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and any necessary repairs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices.
• Utilize an ohmmeter to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Proven experience as a lead mechanic or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive mechanics and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with an ohmmeter and its uses.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Certification as an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Technician or equivalent.
• A strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
