We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair, electrical systems, and heavy equipment operation. Your expertise will ensure that our fleet operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related mechanical systems. Perform routine maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshooting on various systems. Fabricate parts as needed to support repairs and maintenance tasks. Provide tire service, including installation, rotation, and balancing. Operate heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks. Read and interpret schematics to understand complex mechanical systems. Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs. Skills Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques and practices. Proficiency in electrical systems related to diesel engines. Experience with equipment repair and maintenance procedures. Ability to fabricate parts as required for specific repairs. Familiarity with tire service operations, including installation and maintenance. Competence in operating heavy equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues accurately. All employees will be expected to safely complete assignments within acceptable work standards with a minimum amount of supervision. Safety is an important part of our operation. All employees are required to wear all appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses, steel toe boots, reflective vest). Must have high stamina to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Must be able to successfully complete a drug and physical exam.
