Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance, particularly with Classic and performance vehicles. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the overall functionality of vehicles. The Automotive Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing hand tools and power tools to deliver high-quality service to our customers. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair automotive systems including powertrain, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform routine vehicle maintenance. Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot issues effectively. Weld components as necessary to ensure the integrity of repairs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs Skills Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for automotive repairs. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and practices. Ability to read and interpret schematics for various automotive systems. Experience working specifically with Hot Rod vehicles is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to align vehicles accurately as part of the maintenance process. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform complex repairs.
