If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and learning from experienced professionals, this could be the perfect opportunity to get started. As a Technician Apprentice, you will work alongside and learn from our Certified Technicians while gaining hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Sterling Automotive Group will provide training, certifications, and ongoing support to help you grow into a fully qualified technician. Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM May have the occasional Saturday from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM What You'll Do Assist certified technicians with diagnosing and repairing customer and dealership vehicles Help disassemble and reassemble vehicle components Support technicians in performing comprehensive vehicle inspections Record diagnostic findings, safety concerns, and maintenance recommendations Maintain a clean and organized work environment Properly store and care for tools and equipment Complete required training and certifications provided by the dealership Follow all dealership and industry safety standards What We're Looking For 1-2 years of experience in a professional automotive setting preferred Strong interest in the automotive industry and desire to learn the trade Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment Good work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced technicians Basic knowledge of automotive systems is a plus but not required
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance requirements Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform manual tasks Why Work at Sterling Automotive Group?
