The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues Perform brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain repairs Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards Keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a diesel mechanic preferred Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems Experience with electrical and computer diagnostic systems is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
