Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, utilize advanced diagnostic tools, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Repair and replace automotive electrical systems, diesel engines, air brakes, and other specialized components with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop environments. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, transmission repair, auto body repair, and auto estimating is highly desirable. Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), vehicle alignment procedures, and heavy equipment mechanics is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive suspension systems, electrical systems, brake repair, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
