Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. This role requires expertise in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire services. Diagnose issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics. Conduct repairs on diesel engines and powertrain components. Work with air brake systems and perform alignment and suspension work. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the shop. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS). Assist in auto body repair as needed. Skills Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Experience with welding is advantageous. Ability to work with automotive electrical systems effectively. Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle types. Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
