Redline Auto Exchange is a two-bay independent repair facility in Chicopee under new ownership. We are hiring one experienced technician to lead the shop. This is a guaranteed hourly position. You are paid for forty hours every week regardless of car count — no flat rate, no book time, no slow-season shortfall. A monthly performance bonus is paid on top of base wages. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair across makes and model years — driveability, electrical, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, timing, drivetrain Write, price and present repair estimates directly to customers Manage bay workflow and parts ordering Maintain equipment and shop condition Qualifications Five or more years of professional automotive repair experience Demonstrated multi-make diagnostic capability, including intermittent and no-code faults Comfortable working independently and managing your own workflow Complete set of hand tools and roll-away Valid driver's license with a clean record ASE certification preferred, not required What we offer $30.00 per hour, forty hours guaranteed, paid biweekly Monthly performance bonus based on shop results, with transparent reporting Tuesday through Saturday schedule — Mondays off Annual tool program Two lifts, same-day parts accounts, and a real say in what equipment we add as the shop grows Direct customer contact and estimating authority — no service writer between you and the vehicle Defined path to shop foreman as the shop adds capacity To apply Send your resume along with a brief description of one diagnostic problem you solved and how you approached it.
