In this energetic role, you will be the driving force behind vehicle safety, maintenance, and repair, ensuring every car leaving our shop meets the highest standards. Your expertise will help customers enjoy reliable, safe transportation while you hone your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. This paid position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, perform essential inspections, and deliver outstanding customer service every day. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with state safety and emissions standards Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and fluid replacements Diagnose mechanical issues using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment Repair or replace mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and auto body components Change automotive tires safely and efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques Assist in auto estimating by assessing repairs needed and communicating with customers about service options Maintain detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and services performed for each vehicle Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and systems Ability to operate standard passenger cars confidently and safely Mechanical knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, electrical systems, and mechanical systems repair Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire changes and fluid services Familiarity with auto estimating software and vehicle inspection procedures is a plus Strong customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and professionally to clients Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with auto repair Join us if you're passionate about cars, eager to develop your skills in a lively environment, and committed to delivering top-tier automotive service.
