Job Overview Put your technical skills to work on equipment that helps emergency-response teams operate safely and effectively. As an Emergency Vehicle Service Technician, you will diagnose and repair warning and safety systems, including lights, sirens, controllers, speakers, consoles, prisoner-containment systems, and related components. Duties Diagnose system malfunctions accurately and complete dependable repairs. Collaborate with parts personnel to identify and obtain the right components. Document completed work clearly and accurately. Review completed repairs and recommended follow-up work with service management. Deliver high-quality workmanship while keeping customer vehicles clean and protected. Maintain the proper set of personal hand and air tools needed to perform required repairs. Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area. Support installation technicians when teamwork is need to complete a job. Complete small equipment installations as needed. What You Bring Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. The confidence to work independently and take ownership of your work. The ability to manage priorities and complete work efficiently. Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach. Experience A minimum of two years of relevant service, installation, automotive electrical, or equivalent vocational experience is required. Mut own the hand and air tools needed to perform the job duties Previous 12-volt experience is preferred.

Pay:

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
