Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Candidates should possess excellent mechanical knowledge, familiarity with automotive electrical systems, and proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Execute maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections. Repair or replace components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools. Work on advanced systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and perform wheel alignments as needed. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle serviced. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic; dealership experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment procedures, and schematic interpretation. Experience with automotive service procedures including vehicle maintenance and repair across various makes/models. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software effectively. Service technician experience with auto estimating is desirable. Mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience working on GM vehicles is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Pay:

$60,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
