This position involves inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment. You will work under the direction of the Shop Manager and play a key role in keeping our customers' vehicles safe and running reliably. Responsibilities
  • Inspect trucks, trailers, and equipment based on customer concerns and determine necessary repairs
  • Create accurate parts lists and perform repairs efficiently
  • Conduct routine maintenance and preventive services on fleet vehicles and equipment
  • Replace or repair worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts
  • Perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, climbing, twisting, and working in various positions Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience as a heavy-duty truck or equipment mechanic (required)
  • Strong ability to diagnose, maintain, and repair trucks and equipment
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical systems and terminology
  • Excellent troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficient in the safe operation of shop tools and equipment Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • CDL (a plus)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Must be punctual and able to work full shifts Preferred Experience (a plus):
  • Computer diagnostics
