Diagnostic Technician Pay:

Starting at $90,000- 120,000 + per year, based on experience and ability

Monday-Friday | Full-Time Almanzar Auto Clinic is looking for an experienced automotive technician with strong diagnostic, electrical, and problem-solving skills to join our growing team. We are not simply looking for someone to turn wrenches. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in solving problems, performing quality repairs, continuing to learn, and becoming an important part of a growing company. About Our Shop At Almanzar Auto Clinic, we believe technicians should have an environment where they can do quality work, continue developing their skills, and enjoy coming to work. We are a growing independent repair facility with a strong focus on diagnostics, electrical systems, problem-solving, and fixing vehicles correctly the first time. Our owner is also an experienced technician and diagnostician who understands what it is like to work in the garage. You will not be working for someone who does not understand the challenges technicians face. Our sales team understands how to properly present and sell needed repairs, allowing our technicians to concentrate on inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles rather than worrying about whether there is enough work. We promote a team environment where technicians help one another when necessary, while also expecting each technician to continue developing their ability to work independently. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has: At least 4 years of professional automotive repair experience Strong diagnostic and electrical skills The ability to perform repairs independently Good mechanical knowledge across multiple vehicle systems A logical approach to diagnosing problems rather than simply replacing parts Their own professional automotive tools A valid driver's license Good communication skills Attention to detail Pride in workmanship A willingness to continue learning and improving You do not need to know everything. Nobody does. What matters to us is having a strong technical foundation, the ability to think through problems, and the willingness to learn. Training and technical support are provided. We value technicians who can say: "I don't know yet, but I know how to figure it out." We would rather have someone who follows a diagnostic process and proves what is wrong than someone who guesses quickly and replaces parts. We also understand that even experienced technicians encounter problems they have never seen before. Asking for help when appropriate is not a weakness. Our expectation is that you make an effort to understand the system, perform appropriate testing, and continue developing your diagnostic abilities.
