This may require up to 50% domestic and international Position Summary We are seeking a Director of Service to lead global service operations for a portfolio of large-scale vehicle inspection systems. This role will oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, customer support, and lifecycle sustainment while building and scaling a high-performing field service organization. Responsibilities Lead global service operations, installations, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle support. Establish KPIs for uptime, responsiveness, MTTR, first-time fix rates, and customer satisfaction. Lead resolution of complex technical issues and customer escalations. Build, lead, and develop a global field service organization. Develop scalable service models, processes, training, and performance standards. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and customers to improve reliability and service delivery. Support service contracts, spare parts programs, warranties, and other lifecycle services. Qualifications 10+ years of field service, technical support, sustainment, or service operations experience with complex equipment. 5+ years of leadership experience. Experience with electro-mechanical systems such as inspection, security, medical imaging, defense, or similar equipment. Experience with installation, commissioning, and ongoing customer support of large-scale systems. Strong technical, organizational, and customer-facing leadership skills. Experience building and scaling service organizations. Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally. Preferred X-ray, imaging, radiation-generating, or inspection technology experience. Experience with mobile or vehicle-mounted systems. Government or military customer experience. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Ability to obtain applicable customer credentials or security clearances. Previous L3 or Lumafield experience #ind1

Pay:

$160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
