Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct specialized repairs such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, diesel engine repairs, and auto body work when necessary. Execute routine vehicle maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on diverse vehicle makes and models. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, recommending maintenance plans, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Must have own tools. Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership settings preferred. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and suspension systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools, schematics interpretation, and electronic troubleshooting. Skilled in repairing diesel engines, auto body work, wheel alignments, brake systems, shocks & struts, and tire services. Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics and auto estimating is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
