In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will be essential in delivering high-quality service across various automotive systems. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using schematics, electrical testing, and computerized systems to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on transmissions, brakes, suspensions, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components to restore optimal functionality. Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair vehicles and replace required parts. Maintain and service power-train components. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, fluid changes, and general vehicle upkeep to ensure safety and reliability. Follow detailed schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently. Demonstrate excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and providing professional advice on vehicle maintenance needs. Requirements Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with formal tech school or dealership training preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair disciplines including diesel engine repair, transmissions, suspension systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical diagnostics. Proficiency with hand and power tools, specialized equipment, and scan tools. Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance tasks. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
