We are looking for an In-house Shop Technician / Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles, International dump trucks, 3/4 - 1-ton trucks, lawn mowers, and other Landscape / Construction-related items.

We have a large heated bay in our building that will be all your own to manage as you see fit. You will have a tool & equipment budget to use as needed.

You will basically be your own boss in a nice country garage on our 141-acre farm located in Western Howard County, conveniently-located just a few minutes from I-70 and Rt-32. Please note that this job is specific to Rhine's vehicle fleet; trucks and equipment, and does not serve customers or other businesses.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Repair trucks, pick-ups, and other motor vehicles. Work on mowers, tampers, weed-wackers, etc. Work on loaders, skid loaders, and construction equipment. Perform routine vehicle maintenance. Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components. Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience as a mechanic. Tool knowledge and know-how. Knowledge of shop equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Deadline and detail-oriented. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A self starter with a good attitude, Valid Maryland Driver's License, DOT Medical Card, & Drug Free.
