Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing issues accurately and executing repairs efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, including GM models, and to develop your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment dedicated to automotive excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electronic issues. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, suspension repairs, and brake replacements. Repair and overhaul powertrain components including transmissions, diesel engines, and other engine systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for repairs involving shocks & struts, air brakes, welding, and auto body work. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Execute vehicle repairs with precision while adhering to dealership standards for quality and safety. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering maintenance recommendations for vehicle longevity. Skills Proven experience working as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership or similar automotive repair environments. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical components. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating is preferred. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, tire service machinery, and other automotive repair tools confidently. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail for accurate diagnostics and repairs. Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients while explaining repairs clearly.
