Our truck and trailer repair shop is looking for an experienced and dependable Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial trucks and trailers. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience working on trucks and trailers who can work independently and take pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair commercial trucks and trailers Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Perform brake, suspension, steering, and other repairs Repair and maintain trailer systems and components Identify mechanical problems and determine appropriate repairs Complete repairs safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate with management regarding repairs and parts needed Perform other mechanical duties as needed

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience working on trucks and trailers Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Experience with commercial vehicles preferred Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues Ability to work independently Reliable and dependable Good attention to detail Must have your own basic hand tools Valid driver's license Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position
