Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment to execute repairs efficiently and accurately. Replace tires and perform tire rotations as part of routine maintenance services. Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools to ensure a safe working environment. Document all work performed clearly and accurately in the service records for transparency and quality control. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems. Valid Maryland State Inspector certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire. (not required for all positions). Hands-on experience with automotive repair, including vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems repair. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine repairs or parts replacement. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently. Ability to work well with a team. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
