Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Service Technician to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of a wide range of vehicles by performing essential maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles operate smoothly and efficiently, providing them with confidence and peace of mind. Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, tire rotations, and alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance Conduct minor mechanical repairs including brake work, suspension checks, and other mechanical repairs using hand tools and power tools Diagnose automotive issues utilizing automotive diagnostics equipment to identify problems accurately and efficiently Assist with vehicle inspections and safety checks to uphold quality standards and compliance regulations Support automotive service operations by handling tire services, wheel alignments, and other mechanical repairs with precision Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and execute repairs that meet dealership standards Assist in heavy lifting tasks and maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency Requirements Prior dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and automotive systems Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques for accurate troubleshooting Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement procedures including oil changes and other routine maintenance Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs such as brake work, suspension repairs, and tire services Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members Willingness to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safety protocols at all times Join us if you're passionate about automotive repair, eager to enhance your skills in a supportive environment, and ready to deliver exceptional service that keeps our customers moving confidently forward!
