Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truck Accessory Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a wide variety of truck accessories such as truck caps, bed liners, tonneau covers, running boards, toolboxes, hitches, lighting systems, and more. Your work will ensure that each installation is completed to the highest standard of quality and safety. A successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for working with vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of Truck Accessories:
Install a variety of aftermarket truck accessories including, but not limited to, truck caps, tonneau covers, bed liners, hitches, running boards, and lighting systems.
Customization:
Work with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing advice on suitable products and ensuring customization is done to specification.
Safety and Quality Standards:
Ensure that all installations are completed in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications. Follow proper procedures to avoid damage to vehicles.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of different types of truck accessories and installation methods, keeping up-to-date on the latest products in the industry.
Tools & Equipment Management:
Use and maintain tools and equipment necessary for accessory installations. Ensure tools are in good working order and report any needed repairs.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by communicating with customers throughout the installation process (if necessary), addressing any concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with management, other technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of all installations.
Vehicle Protection:
Take necessary precautions to protect the customer's vehicle during the installation process, ensuring no damage occurs.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in vehicle customization, automotive repair, or mechanical work is highly preferred. Experience with truck accessories is a plus.
Skills:
Strong mechanical and technical skills Proficient with hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instructions Comfortable working with various truck models and types Attention to
Detail:
Precision and attention to detail are essential for a successful installation.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift heavy parts, bend, kneel, and work in various physical positions for extended periods.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot and address issues that may arise during the installation process.
Customer Focus:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
