AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care in Lexington Park is seeking a dependable Automotive Technician to join our team. We are looking for a technician who is comfortable performing diagnostics, general automotive repairs, and routine maintenance while supporting transmission removal and installation work as needed. This position is a good fit for a technician who enjoys solving problems, working efficiently, and continuing to develop their mechanical skills. Responsibilities Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify mechanical issues Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes and vehicle inspections Perform general repairs such as brakes, suspension, cooling system, and basic engine work Assist with transmission removal and installation when needed Accurately document diagnostic findings and repair work Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Experience performing automotive diagnostics and general repairs Ability to complete routine maintenance and common mechanical repairs Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work efficiently in a team environment Transmission experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right technician who is motivated and eager to learn. Schedule Monday through Friday No weekends Pay Range We are looking for technicians who take pride in their work, stay productive, and enjoy diagnosing and fixing problems correctly the first time.
