Job Description

Service Front Desk / Office Coordinator at Auto Repair Shop Dub & Ring Silver Spring, MD Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Service writing Office activity coordination Accounts receivable management Phone communication In-person customer service Client invoicing Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description We're a busy independent shop specializing in VW and Audi, though we work on all makes — everything from daily drivers to the occasional R8 or 911 Turbo. We're looking for one sharp, reliable person to run our front desk: the first voice customers hear, and the one keeping the front of house running while the tech stays on the cars. Part of the role is walking customers through what their car needs and what it costs, so being clear and comfortable in conversation matters — but this is an organized, people-facing office role, not a sales job. You don't need to know cars. If you're organized, good with people, and a quick study, we'll teach you the rest — quotes, parts, all of it. One of our best front-desk people started knowing nothing about cars. Full-time, weekdays only — no nights, no weekends. Small shop where you own the front of house instead of being one of twenty.
Note:
we have a resident shop cat and dog on-site. What you'll handle (we'll train you on anything new) Customer updates by phone and text Quotes, invoices, payments, closing out accounts Walking customers through repairs and pricing Ordering parts, checking in deliveries, handling returns and warranty claims What we need from you Clear and comfortable with people, on the phone and in person A quick learner eager to pick up new systems Careful with details — part numbers, quotes, and billing have to be right Organized enough to juggle a walk-in, a delivery driver, and a ringing phone without losing the thread Pay & growth: Starts at $20/hr. A strong performer moves toward $25/hr as they take more off the owner's plate — and as the shop grows, so does the ceiling. We're three years in and getting busier; we want someone who grows with us.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location:
