Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems, mechanical systems, and powertrain components using schematics and diagnostic tools. Repair or replace critical vehicle parts including brakes, shocks & struts, suspension components, transmissions, and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic software to complete repairs efficiently and accurately. Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS calibrations (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and perform air brake system repairs on applicable vehicles. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair procedures to ensure precise repairs aligned with manufacturer standards. Maintain detailed service records, communicate repair findings clearly to customers, and uphold high standards of automotive service quality. Qualifications Minimum of two years' experience working in an automotive repair environment or dealership setting. Proven ability to perform mechanical repairs including transmission work, suspension system repairs, brake repairs, and diesel engine diagnostics. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics reading, and diagnostic procedures. Experience working with heavy equipment mechanics or auto body repair is a plus. Must possess a comprehensive set of hand tools and be willing to utilize power tools effectively. Familiarity with automotive maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
