Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Auto Technician Mechanic specializing in Jeep vehicles to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver top-tier service to our valued customers while advancing your career in automotive technology. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical components using advanced diagnostic tools. Conduct inspections on vehicle engines, powertrain components, and electronic systems to identify issues accurately. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in peak condition. Utilize schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic problems effectively. Repair or replace Jeep engines and other heavy-duty components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Interpret automotive diagnostic codes and utilize diagnostic software to pinpoint issues swiftly. Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers regarding necessary repairs or maintenance. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Expertise in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), automotive wiring diagram interpretation, and electronic system troubleshooting. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and power tools for mechanical repair tasks. Solid knowledge of engine repair techniques for both gasoline and diesel engines, including heavy lifting procedures. Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret automotive electrical systems effectively. Experience with vehicle alignment, welding, auto body repair, and GM vehicle service is a plus. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
