Job Description
Job Summary This is a seasonal position with a guaranteed 6 months, 40+ hours/week We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Rust Check Technician to join our automotive maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing rust proofing treatments and corrosion protection services to extend the lifespan of vehicles. Your expertise will help ensure our customers' vehicles are protected from rust damage, providing them with peace of mind and enhancing vehicle durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical skills and attention to detail make a real difference. We will be open every Saturday (8a-12p) for time and a half pay. Responsibilities Apply rust proofing treatments and corrosion protection products to vehicles using specialized equipment and techniques Conduct vehicle inspections to identify areas susceptible to rust or corrosion Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment safely and efficiently during service procedures Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including alignments, tire rotations, and basic mechanical repairs Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use Communicate clearly with team members and customers regarding service procedures and vehicle status Requirements Automotive knowledge is preferred, but not required.
