Job Description
Position Summary The Automotive Diesel Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain light- to medium-duty diesel vehicles. This position requires strong diagnostic skills with a focus on electrical systems, emissions, fuel systems, and overall drivability concerns. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair drivability concerns on diesel-powered vehicles. Perform electrical diagnostics and repair on vehicle systems. Diagnose and repair diesel fuel systems. Diagnose and repair emissions-related systems. Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs. Accurately document inspections, diagnostics, and repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Applicants must meet the following requirements: Technical training in automotive or diesel technology or equivalent hands-on experience. Experience with diesel engine diagnostics and repair. Electrical diagnostic training or proven experience. Emissions diagnostic training or proven experience. Fuel systems diagnostic training or proven experience. Must supply your own professional tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Preferred Qualifications ASE Certifications (preferred but not required). Experience working with diesel performance upgrades and tuning. Familiarity with modern diagnostic scan tools and service information systems. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
