Description Fleet Automotive Technician AAA Northern New England is seeking a skilled and reliable Fleet Automotive Technician to join our team in Scarborough, ME. What You'll Do:
As a Fleet Automotive Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel and gasoline-powered medium-duty vehicles. Your work will ensure our drivers and members stay safe on the road.Responsibilities Include:
Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on fleet vehicles Complete oil changes, brake repairs, and tune-ups Diagnose and repair: Electrical systems (including ABS), Cooling systems, A/C systems, Hydraulic systems Conduct clutch replacements and general mechanical repairs Assist with vehicle pickups and deliveries to outside vendors Manage and maintain parts inventory, including monthly counts Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment Respond to Emergency Road Service (ERS) calls as neededWhat You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems (required) Experience servicing diesel and gas-powered vehicles ASE certification (preferred) Towing experience, welding, or auto body experience (a plus) Your own tools for performing mechanical repairs Safe Business Driving Requirements Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Provide proof of automobile liability insurance at the time of hire The starting pay range for this position is: $22.49 - $29.97 Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance. , Remarkable benefits:- Health coverage for medical, dental, vision
