Rust Check Technician Rust Check Maine 4 Delta Drive, Westbrook, ME 04092 From $21 an hour - Full-time From $21 an hour - Full-time Job Overview Rust Check Maine is turning 10 years old and we're ready to add to the team! Locations in Westbrook and Augusta. We are currently hiring for a full-time position in Westbrook with all benefits listed. We are also hiring a seasonal employee for our Augusta location (separate post). We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Rust Check Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing rust protection treatments and vehicle undercoating to safeguard vehicles against corrosion and extend their lifespan. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the quality and durability of our customers' vehicles, ensuring they leave with confidence in their ride. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive care, mechanical work, and delivering exceptional customer service. Duties Apply rust protection treatments and undercoatings accurately to vehicle undercarriages using specialized equipment and techniques Inspect vehicles for existing rust damage or corrosion issues, documenting findings thoroughly Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment safely and efficiently during service procedures Assist with automotive diagnostics to identify underlying issues affecting vehicle integrity or performance Qualifications Automotive knowledge/familiarity is preferred, but not required.
