In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your hands-on experience with engines, transmissions, driveline systems, and electrical components will drive our commitment to delivering exceptional automotive service. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct in-depth repairs on engines, transmissions, differentials, and air conditioning with precision and efficiency. Be able to diagnose and repair all types of suspension, steering, and braking systems to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to execute repairs effectively. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed for quality assurance. Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as transmission fluid changes and driveline upkeep. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven automotive repair industry experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for complex vehicle systems. Hands-on experience working with engines, transmissions, differentials, steering and suspension systems, brake and ABS systems, electrical diagnostics. Ability to operate diagnostic equipment, AC Machine, Hot Flush Machine, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Our offering is for a seasoned mechanic who can perform all types of critical in depth engine repairs and differential rebuilds as well as handling transmission R&R and valve body service. If you have not worked as a transmission technician, but you can perform timing chains, head repairs, diagnose and repair complex fuel issues efficiently, etc. we can easily teach you transmission service. We are not expecting the person who takes this position to teach or look after lower level mechanics around the shop. Each of our locations has a shop foreman for those tasks. We work Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm. We do not work on weekends or holidays. Applicant will not be afforded smoke breaks. If you are a smoker, get used to patches or gums. We tolerate minimal vape usage if it does not distract from the work being performed. We understand marijuana is legal however candidate should not be one who uses any type of inebriating products during shop hours and may never come to work high from early morning use. We take our work very seriously and expect applicant to do the same and give each task their full undivided attention.

Pay:

$31.50 - $51.50 per hour Expected hours: 42.5 per week
