Construction Equipment Mechanic Super Construction is looking for a dependable mechanic to join our team. We have locations in Bay City and Detroit, Michigan. This position is primarily based in Bay City but requires travel to our Detroit location a few days each week. The mechanic will work under the supervision and direction of our lead mechanic, assisting with repairs and maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead mechanic with diagnosing and repairing construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and small engines Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections Help troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Complete repairs at our shops and occasionally at job sites Keep work areas clean and organized Help ensure company equipment is safe and operating properly Follow all instructions and company safety procedures

Requirements:

Previous mechanical or equipment-repair experience is preferred Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems is helpful Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be willing to travel between Bay City and Detroit a few days each week Dependable, organized, and willing to learn Able to follow directions and work well with the lead mechanic This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.
