Job Description
Job Overview We are currently looking for a Full-time Fleet Mechanic. The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for the repair of all safety and mechanical defects in our tractor-trailer & Heavy equipment. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following: Diagnose mechanical problems and make appropriate repairs, generally unassisted. Read and understand technical and electrical manuals. Use written communication to describe work performed and parts used on Work Orders and/or other documentation. Perform preventative maintenance procedures. Use oral communication with co-workers and management when working on "team projects" and/or describing problems encountered and work accomplished. Make repairs away from the shop when a break-down occurs on the road.
