Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing and Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office environment, with knowledge of dental terminology, Dentrix Software and dealing with dental insurance companies and billing. Training can be provided if the candidate is willing to learn new work skills. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected. Handle medical records with confidentiality and accuracy, including maintaining up-to-date patient information. Assist with dental billing processes, including dental coding and processing payments. Respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and general information about the facility. Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for dental provider. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Requirements Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred or trainable. Knowledge of dental terminology and dental billing is highly desirable. Familiarity with dental collection processes is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing records accurately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Proficient in using office equipment and software systems related to dental records management like Dentrix.
