What You'll Do Oil and Filter Service:
Drain motor oil, replace oil filters, and refill engines with the correct type and amount of oil. Inspect, top off, or flush fluids including brake, transmission, power steering, and coolant reservoirs. Check tire pressure, inflate tires, measure thread depth and perform tire rotations Test and replace batteries, change wiper blades and air/cabin filters and complete MPVI Inform service advisors or customers of extra maintenance their vehicle needs Keep work area clean and follow environmental and safety disposal laws Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks What We're Looking For Knowledge of automobiles Effective analytical and communication skills Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment High school diploma or GED Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Positive and friendly attitude A valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required.
