About the Position We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities, hands-on experience performing automotive repairs, and the ability to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues. Our shop specializes in high-quality automotive service and repair, with a strong focus on European vehicles . Experience with European makes is preferred, but talented technicians with strong diagnostic and repair skills are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Perform accurate and thorough vehicle diagnostics. Identify problems and recommend appropriate repairs. Perform mechanical repairs, including engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and cooling system repairs. Diagnose and repair automotive electrical and electronic systems. Perform routine maintenance and scheduled services. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical repair information. Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Work closely with other technicians and team members to maintain an efficient workflow. Stay current with evolving automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and repair techniques. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills. Experience with automotive electrical and electronic systems. European vehicle repair experience is preferred but not required. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical information. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a professional attitude. Must have your own tools. Must have the required State of Michigan certifications. Valid driver's license required.
