Job Description
Automotive repair and service center located in Coopersville seeking a Certified Automotive Technician to join our team.
- Automotive skills, use of hand and power tools to successfully complete automotive repairs and service.
- Basic parts replacement: starters, alternators, batteries, cables, spark plugs, filters, simple water pumps, valve cover gaskets, brake pad & rotors, or shoe replacement; all fluids like, oil change, transmission, coolant, brake, power steering, differentials, transfer case, etc.
- Consistently use required safety equipment and properly dispose of hazardous waste.
- Work in alignment with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines.
- Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to factory guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong teamwork skills and a "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to read and comprehend written repair order instructions and information.
- Ability to prioritize, follow up on multiple repairs simultaneously and multi-task.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- 2+ years of automotive repair and service experience in a professional setting.
- ASE Certified
- State certified This is a Full-Time position.
