Fleet Maintenance Technician - JLLWhat this job involves:

As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource ensuring JLL's mobile equipment and fleet vehicles operate at peak performance. Your primary purpose is to deliver professional, timely, and accurate repair services that minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency across our client operations. This role directly contributes to JLL's commitment to operational excellence by maintaining the reliability and safety of our fleet assets while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with customer service excellence to support JLL's reputation as a world-class facilities and asset management provider.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mobile equipment, fleet vehicles, and machinery using mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical expertiseComplete repair jobs efficiently and professionally while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocolsDocument all repair activities using work order systems and computer programs, including labor time, equipment details, repair categories, and parts inventory changesMaintain accurate company and consignment parts inventories through proper procedures and timely ordering processesProvide exceptional customer service to internal teams and clients, including proactive recommendations for process improvements to the Fleet Operations ManagerManage daily workload effectively to prioritize urgent repairs while maintaining scheduled preventative maintenance commitmentsCollaborate with team members to share best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

Proven technical background in industrial equipment repair and preventative maintenance programsStrong working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems for mobile equipment and fleet vehiclesDemonstrated computer proficiency, particularly with work order management systems and data entry applicationsExcellent diagnostic and analytical troubleshooting abilitiesValid driver's license with clean driving record (required for mobile service delivery)Ability to follow all company policies and safety procedures without exceptionStrong verbal and written communication skills for professional client and team interactions

Preferred Qualifications:

ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or equivalent technical certificationsExperience with fleet management software or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)Background working in commercial real estate, facilities management, or corporate fleet environmentsFamiliarity with DOT compliance requirements and vehicle safety regulationsPrevious experience managing parts inventory and vendor relationshipsAbility to recommend service improvements based on industry best practicesMultilingual capabilities to serve diverse client populations
